How to use the Code element

Add your own code to Mobiz landing pages for extra functionality and flexibility — plus a few ideas to get you started.

The Code element lets you add your own code to Mobiz landing pages, giving you more control over what your pages can do. If something provides HTML or an embed snippet, you can usually drop it in — so the possibilities are wide open. We've included a few ideas below to spark your own.

In this article:

  1. Adding code to your landing page
  2. Ways to use the Code element

Adding code to your landing page

The steps are the same whatever you're embedding:

  1. In the landing page editor, drag and drop the Code element onto your page.
  2. Paste your code (or embed snippet) into the Code element block.
  3. If it doesn't appear right away, click Add iframe underneath the block.
  4. Adjust the height by entering a pixel value.

That's the whole process — the only thing that changes between the use cases below is where you copy the code from.

Ways to use the Code element

Here are a few things you can embed. In each case, grab the HTML or embed code from the source, then follow the steps above.

  • Chatbot — Let customers open a chatbot and start a conversation right on your landing page. Copy the HTML from your chatbot tool.
  • Booking calendar — Let customers book an appointment without leaving the page. Copy the HTML from your calendar tool.
  • Social post — Showcase a post from your social media that customers can click through to view your profile or comment on. Copy the embed code (usually found under "Embed").
  • HTML page or website — Display an external web page inside your landing page. Inspect the page and copy over its HTML.
  • Your own code — Paste in any custom code you want to run.
  • Payment button — Let customers pay directly from your landing page. Copy the HTML from your payment partner.

This list is just a starting point — the Code element is flexible, so it's worth experimenting to see what works best for you and your business.
